Setting Off on Our Dream Journey

On a crisp morning of December 7th, three passionate riders from Jaipur embarked on an ambitious journey to the southernmost tip of India, often referred to as the feet of Mother India. At the break of dawn, with the blessings from Lord Ganesha’s temple at Moti Doongri, we bid heartfelt goodbyes to our families and the Airborne team. With engines roaring, we set off not just for a ride but to conquer challenges and create lasting memories.

Navigating the Challenges Along the Way

By 5 a.m., we were cruising down the Jaipur NH, with Surat as our first pit stop. Our strategy was efficient: a 20-minute break every 200 kilometers. The excitement mounted as we covered our first 700 kilometers, culminating in our first hearty meal at a roadside dhaba. As we reached Surat by 11 p.m., we had already clocked an impressive 900 kilometers, marking a significant milestone in our adventure.

In Surat, while our bodies rested, our minds buzzed with anticipation. The subsequent day presented an alluring sight of Gujarat’s scenic highways, calling us to push our limits. The decision was made—a bold move to ride straight to Bengaluru. The journey was exhilarating but the bumpy roads of Maharashtra put our riding skills to the test. A comforting tea break in Chinchwad, Pune, provided the much-needed boost, rejuvenating our spirits before heading towards Bengaluru.

The Triumph of Reaching Kanyakumari

The seamless highways from Pune to Bengaluru felt like a rider's dream as we relished the smooth roads and scenic views. Upon reaching Bengaluru, we took two days to explore the city before setting our sights on Madurai and then Kanyakumari, our ultimate destination. With an unexpected challenge from Cyclone Vardah testing our resolve, we rode with grit and determination, ultimately conquering both the storm and our destination.

Arriving in Kanyakumari brought with it an indescribable euphoria. Witnessing the rising sun over the vast ocean transformed our trials into triumphs. With the realization of our achievement solidified by the challenges we faced, our journey was far from over as we looked forward to the beaches, parties, and relaxation that awaited us in Goa.

As we began our return, stopping at Pune and finally reaching Jaipur, the ABRZ team welcomed us with the warmth befitting heroes returning from battle. Having traversed approximately 8000 kilometers across eight major states in 14 days, we had not only recorded two impressive rides—1310 kilometers non-stop from Surat to Bengaluru and 1400 kilometers non-stop from Pune to Jaipur—but also solidified a bond and a deeper love for our machines as part of the Airborne Riders. This adventure wasn't merely about distances or records; it was about the spirit of adventure we embraced as we conquered the southern tip of India.
